About The Position

We’re looking for a creative and talented Social Media and Community Manager to develop and grow our community across social media and digital platforms. You will be responsible for growing Spike’s online presence by managing our digital channels, engaging with core industry influencers, and fostering stronger relationships between the brand and the community.

● Build and execute a social media strategy that consistently increases brand awareness, scales an engaged community, drives growth, and supports product adoption

● Work closely with Design to execute ideas and materials that have a strong impact

● Develop and own an influencer marketing strategy that drives growth

● Liaise with leaders in Spike and the industry to create thought leadership-driven content

● Develop and nurture relationships with our community, ambassadors and advocates

● Ideate & execute an employer branding plan to increase social reach

● Monitor and participate in conversations across social media, the internet and among our MVP users, surfacing sentiment, user-generated content, and feedback

● Track, analyze and report metrics regularly; extract insights to inform the social strategy

● Continually stay informed of industry trends and best practices 


● 3+ years as a social media manager, content strategist, or content creator

● Native English speaker and writer - must

● Built social media activities on LinkedIn and Twitter for a fast-growing tech brand

● You love to create engaging and aesthetic content; are passionate about enforcing brand standards

● Good storytelling requires great writing abilities. We love wit and a bit of spunk

● Experience creating graphics and video content, like Instagram reels or TikToks

● Deep understanding of social media metrics; experience with Google Analytics
